Skyler's mom said she would never let
another rodent in the house after the rat
episode. But ,thanks to Skyler's preschool
teacher we took Mitzi for the weekend. It
actually was pretty fun. She has a wonderful
personality and Skyler loved feeding her. She would
eat right out of your hand. She would take her
bowl in her igloo dump the food out and then
push the bowl back out. She was house trained
and she would squeak when she wanted attention or
food. We had a great time.

Fun. Especially since it was temporary. SInce having our turtle (thank heavens it ran away, remember?) our choice of animal are those that stay outside. After awhile the house smells like them. He sure looks like he loves Mitzi.
