Texas BBQ

On our way back from Corpus Christi we stopped in Brady
(which is I swear the capital of Texas Hunting Country). This
place had EVERYTHING! You could pick dove, deer, pork, beef
chicken, Turkey, sausage and a few other things I am not sure what it was.

This is Cavin asking me what I want. This kid stands outside
the restuarant and you tell him what you want and he slices the
meat and puts it on butcher paper on a tray. Then you walk into
the restuarant and tell the people inside if it is a sanwich or dinner
plate. I asked for a child's portion of turkey for a sandwich. The
sandwich could of feed both Cavin and I easy. Cavin orderd pull-pork.
His sandwich was 2 times bigger. I guess what they say, "Everything
in Texas is bigger" rings true. I can't wait to take family here to try it
It is a culture experience to remember. That is if I can get them there
to try it. Grandpa Thorsted will love it! Oh, if you bring your meat to them
from your hunt, they will cook it for you. Fast Food service for the hunter
HE HE.

Buffett of meat anyone?

I thought this was so funny. Deer Antlers
for Drink handles. This was a pure Hunter's
delight restuarant.
